EMS could help me move without putting too much strain on my lungs. I had my reservations but my expectations were far exceeded.

I have been doing EMS for over 2 months now and for me it is working super. The goal was to be able to do daily life and work well and to become fitter with less fatigue. Well that has worked out quite well in that short period of time.

I can now walk up the 2 flights of stairs to the attic without getting short of breath and having to rest between the 2 flights. Heavier work takes less effort (such as fetching a basket of wood for the stove from the garden). My grandchildren I can lift, carry and rescue smoothly (the youngest of 10 months goes around the room in turbo crawling, pulling himself up on everything). I can also hold my job, which involves a lot of walking, better. I notice that I stand up straighter because my back muscles have gotten stronger. This gives my lungs more room and therefore more air.

In short thanks to Richard and his EMS. I am very happy with it.

EMS helps me become myself again. I lost that self for a long time after infection with covid in September 2021 followed by almost 2 years of solid post covid. From being fit and in shape with a resting heart rate of 60 I went to barely being able to do anything with a heart rate of 150 sitting still on the couch and eventually adding almost 30 kg as a "bonus."

Always kept the will to get out. Only how and in what way was uncertain for a long time.

With a lot of patience and seeing doing nothing as the best activity for recovery, I slowly started to recover last summer.

Too good for even further physio, still too bad for real sports, EMS came my way. Key words that triggered me in it: muscle building without too much physical strain. Intuitively, that seemed like the best route to recovery for me. And look : 4 months on, EMS training with Richard has helped me so much: already a lot fitter than I could have ever imagined and minus 10 kg (with expert help from Paebus Health. In addition to EMS now started with EGym twice a week. I am convinced that next summer I will be my old self again. I cannot express in words how happy I am with that.

I sincerely hope that sharing my experience with EMS may give others with post covid a route to becoming more able again, even if just a little. Curing post covid symptoms is unfortunately still a mystery. That is precisely why it is good to know what has helped others.

One year ago: visit to the physio because of an injury to my back.

One injury after another beset me in recent years .

After years of physical hard work (a little less now ) I wanted to exercise to get and stay a little fitter, also considering my age I thought it was a good idea , however I couldn't get it to start and build up anything because of aching joints etc.....

A lot of pain after muscle exertion . So building muscle mass was not possible.

And it is precisely this muscle condition that is important to function well in daily life and from which you must draw your strength.

EMS provides that muscle strengthening without getting complaints to joints or attachment sites of the muscles ligaments. They become less stressed.

EMS has really helped me go through life more pain free again . The paracetamol stays in the drawer and I am fit again.

Due to my hypermobility and phybromyalgia, the joints (ligaments) are fragile and easily overloaded causing fatigue quickly . I could no longer build up ... tried everything from yoga to Tai chi etc ....

As I am a busy bee and love life I was continuously overloaded with my physical body,. I had ignored it for a long time hence all those injuries .

My physical therapist at Piazza gave me the tip to try EMS .

Meanwhile after a year of EMS training, I am more than grateful to Richard and that I chose this.

I can do my job normally as a masseur and I walk and cycle with full energy. Of course just like everyone else you have to constantly watch where your limits are and divide the tasks well and can now listen to my body better .
