The outdoor season is nearing its end. The leaves are falling from the trees and it's getting dark earlier again. Time to get back into cycling so you can get back on the road fit around April and not have to ride at the back of the pack. But what do you choose spinning or RPM? And why?

RPM. This cycling class includes a in addition to a special choreography that changes every three months, a set structure: warm up, tempo increase, hills, mixed terrain, time trial, sprint, mountains, return trip, stretch. One of the most striking features is that it is an interval class, which has many benefits. The program is taught in more than 70 countries around the world and has been a very popular in the fitness industry for years.

SPINNING. The special feature of spinning is that the content of this cycling class is entirely in the hands of the instructor. Since this does not include any set choreography, the instructor can determine the content of this "freestyle" class himself. So does the use of music. Here you are even more dependent on the quality of the instructor, where one spinning class may perfectly suit your needs and training goals while the other may not meet your needs as well. So be sure to try out different instructors!

Our advice? Be open-minded and try them both and ask the instructor what the benefits are for you. He/she will be happy to tell you more about it. By now we know that the most critical spin enthusiasts are also the biggest RPM fans.
